Walk
Walk
Walk
Walk with Jesus daily.
Hebrews 4:12 King James Version (KJV)
12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Christian walk is not easy. Many depart. Many do not make until the end. We all expect things to always go well. Sometimes they do, but quite often we experience difficulty in the world. Do not be discouraged. Don’t measure your relationship with God based on apparent success or failure. It is based on our faith and obedience to Christ in overcoming the world 1 John 5:4-5. Our faith in Christ is the victory in our lives Rom 8:37, 1 Cor 15:57. Remember, Jesus Himself was persecuted and crucified. Christians have always suffered persecution. The world is headed in the opposite direction while we press on toward to mark of the high calling; Phil 3:14. We are working hard, for the advancement of the Gospel, and not so much for ourselves as The Apostle Paul explains...
Matthew 5:10-12 King James Version (KJV)
10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 16:24-27 King James Version (KJV)
24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Matthew 7:13-15 King James Version (KJV)
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Romans 12:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The Apostle Paul went through many hardships during his ministry, including being put in jail. This is where he gave us the analogy for “The Whole Armor of God.” He noticed the Roman Centurion Armor and tied it in to our own Spiritual Armor, as we take a stand against the wiles of the Devil.
The Holy Ghost
John 14:15-17 King James Version (KJV)
15If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
The Christian road is straight and narrow.
Philippians 1:12-14 King James Version (KJV)
12But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
13So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;
14And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Colossians 1:9-10 King James Version (KJV)
9For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
The Importance of Reading God’s Word.
1 John 1:5-10 King James Version (KJV)
5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Walk in The Light
Your Faith is going to be Tested.
1 Peter 1:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Matthew 5:13-15 King James Version (KJV)
13Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Colossians 2:6-10 King James Version (KJV)
6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Walk in Christ, and do not rely so much on what the world is teaching. Examine your Church. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you notice what is being taught doesn’t line up with the word. Your pastor should be approachable, as some pastors do not like being questioned or criticized. This isn’t a Godly characteristic. Pastors should be humble. After all God is the Boss, and pastors are just tending His sheep and preaching His message. Some pastors today are spending more time reading and quoting other books that teach worldly principles, rather than focusing solely on the Bible. Nothing wrong with reading other material, there are a few good Christian books out there that have good Biblical information, but like I said only a few. Most of what you see today are best sellers that take your eyes away from the word of God. Below is a Christian video exposing best selling book by Joel Osteen “Your best life now”. This peculiar video has more Bible teaching than Joel’s book. Listen to the wonderful message and compare.
Ephesians 4:1-6 King James Version (KJV)
1I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
God has only one personality. God is the same yesterday and today and forever. God does not have a multiple personality disorder. He is the same Spirit to all, in all. So why then are there many different churches, with different opinions, and divisions? Two reasons; One is bad, and the second is good.
1)Divisions are caused by some churches teaching false doctrine or dumping doctrine all together. What you get is a group of mislead people, ultimately becoming a sect, cult or new religion within the church. Please avoid such churches. See Beware of False Prophets. Find a fundamental, traditional Bible based church. Also the flood of new Bible versions that have hit the market are causing division, and confusion inside the church. Not to mention all the books pastors are trying to sell. We cannot be like-minded with different Bibles, with different words, and hidden corruptions. Stick to the trusty and faithful King James Bible, complete and worthy to be called the Holy Bible.
The body of Christ is made up of people, and the Church doesn’t have literal walls. All Christians make up the body of Christ. We ought to be working together to advance the gospel and to perfect and edify the saints, in the faith. 1 Thess 3:10.
Ephesians 4:11-15 King James Version (KJV)
11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Abide inChrist and His word.
2 Peter 3:16-18 King James Version (KJV)
16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Colossians 3:16 (King James)
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
2 Timothy 3:15-17 (King James)
15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
33For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
Hebrews 12:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Finish the Race.
The Fruit of The Spirit
God is a Spirit made manifest in Jesus Christ the Son, and His Spirit is the same here, there, and everywhere.
Ephesians 5:8-12 King James Version (KJV)
8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
There should be a battle going on within all of us. If we ask God for The Holy Spirit then we ought to listen to Him, and produce good fruit. There are two forms of fruit Christians ought to produce, Good Behavior, Good Works; Titus 2:14, and the Spiritual fruit with the Word; Titus 1:9. Lots of people going to church, but the spiritual fruit of the word is not heard or it’s very weak or in many cases simply corrupt. Jesus said “you will know them by their fruit.” Matthew 7:16 Below we can see the battle within us, as we wrestle with our own flesh in obedience to the Spirit to produce Good Fruit.
Ephesians 4:21-24 King James Version (KJV)
21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
1 Timothy 4:6 King James Version (KJV)
6If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
1 Timothy 4:12-16 King James Version (KJV)
12Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
Being a pastor or church leader isn’t easy. I know because developing this site was very hard to do and I’m not an official pastor with a diploma that says pastor, just a graphic designer for Christ. Love and support your pastors. They have committed their lives to presenting the word of God in front of the world, and this is not easy to do. However some pastors out there are dumping the long held fundamental doctrines of the faith found in the word, and replacing them with new ideologies, and philosophies even preaching a partial gospel which is also destructive. They are introducing or should I say sneaking in destructive heresies. Take Heed! Very few authentic ministers left that truly fear God and understand His Word. See: Beware of false prophets.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11 King James Version (KJV)
4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Doctrine
with Jesus Daily
2 Timothy 4:2-4 King James Version (KJV)
2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Romans 8:1 King James Version (KJV)
1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Ephesians 5:18 King James Version (KJV)
18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Acts 2:38 King James Version (KJV)
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
John 14:26 King James Version (KJV)
26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Galatians 5:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The Transformation
One good example of the Christian transformation is the butterfly. When it’s caterpillar it damages the garden and trees with its voracious appetite. But then it stops and transforms into a butterfly, bringing beauty to the garden and it helps to pollinate plants along the way.
The Body of Christ
Psalm 86:11 King James Version (KJV)
11Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Romans 12:4-5 King James Version (KJV)
4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Romans 6:4 King James Version (KJV)
4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The question I have been asking God lately (for knowledge) is when exactly does one receive the Holy Ghost? Is it immediately? Do we need to wait, do something or follow steps? Well this topic seems a bit tricky. Reading the Book of Acts we first read that we need to repent, and be baptized, to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). In another part The Holy Ghost fell upon those who heard the word (Acts 10:44) (Acts 11:15). In other parts, people received the word, were baptized and afterwards received the Holy Ghost (Acts 19:2-6). One thing is for sure, repentance is necessary to receive Jesus and forgiveness from sin.
Acts 3:19 King James Version (KJV)
19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Asking God for the Holy Ghost. Just ask. Again though, to clarify, a true believer calls out to Jesus for help in repentance from sin. I highlighted in Luke 11:13 where it says “ye being evil”. Speaking to people today about Christ it’s hard to find somebody who walks in humility about their sinfulness. Apparently, everyone is innocent these days? So, is this how we believe in God? How is God going to save us if we are proud? See; James 4:6. We must call out to him for salvation, but salvation from what? See; Matt 1:2, Rom 3:23, James 2:10. I will say based on scripture one needs to hear the Word of God first. This is to listen and allow the word of God to come in (Rom 10:17) and convict us. Followed by true repentance from sin; (Mark 2:17). Once we realize we are sinful, and that we need salvation (Matt 18:11), then we need to bow (humble ourselves) to Jesus Christ and receive Him as Lord and Savior (Acts 8:37) (Rom 10:9). Repentance from sin and believing that Jesus is our Lord and Savior from sin is indeed the minimum requirement. Baptism by water (John 3:5) needs to be the next step of obedience or else how then is Jesus Lord over us if we do not obey him; Heb 5:9? Baptism isn’t necessary to receive the Holy Ghost. Baptism, however, it’s your confirmation and should be done ASAP (Acts 9:17-18). WARNING: ALL YOU PREACHERS WHO SAY NO BATISM IS NEEDED. YOU SAY THIS TO 1.2 BILLION DECEIVED CATHOLICS WHO REFUSE TO CONVERT OR BE BAPTIZED AGAIN, THINKING THEIR INFANT CATHOLIC BAPTISM IS LEGITIMATE. EVERYONE MUST GO IN BY THE SAME WAY. REPENTANCE FROM THE EVIL WAY, BEING BAPTIZED INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST. THIS IS WHAT JESUS COMMANDED; MARK 16:15-16. Ephesians 1:11-16 also lays out, in sequence, how one comes to receive the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 1:11-16 King James Version (KJV)
11In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Still sounds complicated? Let’s simplify it. In humility bow down or get on your knees and pray out loud.
Dear God, Heavenly Father, I come before you a sinner. I realize I’m lost in sin. I repent from my past sinful lifestyle. Forgive me of my sins, all the obvious ones, and any wickedness that be in me. I surrender my life over to you. Please accept me into your kingdom, to dwell with you forever as an adopted son. Thank you for dying for me on the cross to pay for my sin debt! In Jesus name I pray. Amen!
Acts 2:21 (King James)
21And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acts 22:16 (King James)
16And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19Quench not the Spirit.
20Despise not prophesyings.
John 3:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
1 Peter 5:10 King James Version (KJV)
10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
Luke 21:10-19 King James Version (KJV)
10Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19In your patience possess ye your souls.
2 Timothy 3:11-12 King James Version (KJV)
11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 Thessalonians 3:2-4 King James Version (KJV)
2And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
3That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
4For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
2 Timothy 1:7-9 King James Version (KJV)
7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
8Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
John 15:1-11 King James Version (KJV)
1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Understanding the word isn’t easy. It requires painstaking study, and experience. Many don’t really understand the word. We see and hear sometimes questionable preachers, and churches, adding to the truth, taking away from it, or mixing it with something else. In 2 Peter 3:16-18 it talks about people who twist the scriptures not really knowing it’s true meaning or using it incorrectly.
Afflictions for the faith.
1 Peter 4:12-14 King James Version (KJV)
12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
Remain Faithful toChrist until the end.
Many believe that one cannot lose their salvation. This is true, you cannot lose your salvation if you remain in Christ until the end. Many so-called Christians aren’t living in obedience to Christ. They live a lukewarm spiritual life, or even depart from the faith (apostasy), and walk away from the truth in God. The Bible gives clear warning to not let this be you. Don’t lose your opportunity of salvation by giving up, falling away or letting go of your faith and hope in Christ. Those who are truly saved will hang on until the end. These are the faithful elect.
Matthew 10:22 King James Version (KJV)
22And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Luke 8:13-15 King James Version (KJV)
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
1 Timothy 4:1 King James Version (KJV)
1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
John 10:28 King James Version (KJV)
28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Revelation 2:10 (King James Version)
10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Luke 21:36 King James Version (KJV)
36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
To those who are true and faithful to Christ, no matter what happens around you, or to you, fear not, nothing will separate you from the love of God and salvation.
Luke 6:46 King James Version (KJV)
46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Romans 8:35-37 King James Version (KJV)
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Matthew 28:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The Great Commission
Revelation 3:5 King James Version (KJV)
5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 17:14 King James Version (KJV)
14These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Matthew 22:14 (King James Version)
14For many are called, but few are chosen.
In a nutshell, take up your cross and follow Jesus means
“obedience” even to the cross along with Christ.
2 Corinthians 13:5 King James Version (KJV)
5Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
1 Peter 1:4-6 King James Version (KJV)
4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
Matthew 10:38 King James Version (KJV)
38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
1 Peter 4:16-19 King James Version (KJV)
16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
Ezekiel 33:18-19 King James Version (KJV)
18When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.
19But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
Luke 11:13 King James Version (KJV)
13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8 King James Version (KJV)
Matthew 8:19-20 King James Version (KJV)
19And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
20And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
Hebrews 3:12-15 King James Version (KJV)
12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
Hebrews 10:38-39 King James Version (KJV)
38Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Called, Faithful & Chosen
Ephesians 1:4 King James Version (KJV)
4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
John 15:16 King James Version (KJV)
16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Chosen are those who remain faithful to Christ, in truth and love until the end. Salvation cannot be lost, but those who veer off course or drop out of the faith might not be saved? They might even stay inside the church, but Christ is not inside of them. Many are following the mainstream, the wide, all inclusive gate. Others are trying to hop the fence or sneak in, pretenders, dissimulators, phonies; John 10:1.
Supporting Parables: The Mustard Seed and the birds of the air; Matt 13:31-32, The Wheat and the Tares; Matt 13:36-43, The Fishing Net; Matt 13:47-50, The Marriage Feast; Matt 22:1-14.
John 14:21 King James Version (KJV)
21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Ephesians 2:10 King James Version (KJV)
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Colossians 2:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
John 16:7-11 King James Version (KJV)
7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
1 Peter 1:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Psalm 12:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalm 119:105 King James Version
105Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 138:2 King James Version
2I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
James 4:8-10 King James Version (KJV)
8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:4 King James Version (KJV)
4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Paul also warned about those who were not walking according to the truth. Many false Christians either sneaking in or veering off course since the get go.
Philippians 3:16-19 King James Version
16Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
2) Are the different types of positions and gifts within the church. Diversity. God has diversified the church by giving each of us a special gift. Even though we all have different gifts, and jobs to do we are all part of the same team, the Body of Christ. Our job is to preach the one true Gospel to the world, and to edify the saints. The apostle Paul explains the different administrations within the church yet he also begged that we should all be like minded, not divided.
2 Peter 2:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
The Apostle Peter gives a very stern and prophetic warning about what we see today, a mass-marketing of Christian books, all vying for your attention, taking your eyes away from actually reading the word of God. They are selling you info, while in many cases sneaking in heresy. All you really need is God’s word Psalm 1:2, Psalm 119:100-107, a dictionary and faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus has given to me a couple of free Bibles along the course of this life. Go to your bookstore and acquire a King James Version Bible. Go large print, and with a concordance if possible. Like I mentioned up top, there are a few good Christian publications out there that help to minister and are in line with the Bible, but unless you are rooted in the Bible it will be hard to discern between true or false.
John 8:31-32 King James Version (KJV)
31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 14:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
It says freely give, not freely take. The majority of these phony pastors and ministries collect so much money playing off peoples emotions and their needs, and what they give back in return is a diluted even corrupt message. It really is just an act as you just saw above.
Only if perhaps they’d wholeheartedly repent and return to God’s word. The apostle James was exhorting many who were backsliding into the world, urging them to humble themselves and return to God.
2 Peter 2:17-20 King James Version (KJV)
17These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
18For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
The Apostle Peter reiterates below what Jesus says in Luke 13:27 “workers of iniquity”. These are corrupt preachers who lure people through fancy speeches, and use sensuality to draw people in, ex: big events, exaggerated lights & sound, sometimes bribery, a huge sensual experience (sensual as in appealing to the 5 senses, yet empty spiritually). They live the lavish life, while making money off the poor, and preach a corrupt message. Remember, Jesus came to preach the gospel to the poor, for free; Matt 11:5, Luke 4:18.
Matthew 10:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Philippians 2:12 King James Version (KJV)
12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
If this section of Bible study sounds a bit scary or nerve racking well it should. This isn’t a game or joke. God is making a serious offer to save us for eternity. He died a horrible and painful death on the cross for us. Should we procrastinate, play games or flip flop back and forth with God? Stay faithful and committed to Christ until the very end.
John 15:19-20 King James Version (KJV)
19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Matthew 25:32-34 King James Version (KJV)
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Matthew 13:45-46 King James Version (KJV)
45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
In this parable, Jesus is the merchant man, and the pearl of great price is Israel/the Church. He Paid the price for it with His own life. If you believe on Him you are His.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 King James Version (KJV)
19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
John 7:38-39 King James Version (KJV)
38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

John 6:60-68 King James Version (KJV)
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Departing from the true faith?
AKA Apostasy.
The eternal security doctrine is flawed, incomplete and dangerous. It gives the wrong impression of not having to serve the Lord wholeheartedly with all our mind body and soul; Matt 22:37. It leads people to believe you’re saved without having any real conversion or repentance from sin; Luke 13:5. Yes, the Bibles tells us believe on the Lord and be saved; Acts 16:13. But believing encompasses more than just knowing he is there. Heb 5:9 tells us specifically salvation is for those who obey Him. The Jailer from Acts was baptized straight away (obedience). James clearly states faith without works is dead; James 2:17-26. Lets read a couple more teachings from the Lord that show eternal security for merely believing in Jesus is misleading and incomplete.
The faithful servant Vs. the evil servant.
Matthew 24:45-51 King James Version (KJV)
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The evil servant gave up at the end and fell away into sin.
As you know the word of God does not contradict itself. I don’t see eternal security fitting in here? Salvation is for the faithful believer, and not for the one who departs from the faith and returns to sin. Here are a few more passages that refute eternal security, and show that believing includes; repenting and returning to God as well as obedience and faithfulness from our part. Luke 15:24, Ps 31:23, Matt 7:21, Matt 7:24-27, Luke 8:21, Matt 28:20. Example. You are Roman Catholic, and you accept Christ, and soon afterwards return back to Catholicism, or Buddhism or whatever sin you were trapped in. A true believer who has been saved and has the Holy Ghost obeys the Word, will fight the good fight until the end, living in repentance.
Again, not denying they nobody can take us away from the love of Christ, but we can fall away if we aren’t faithful; Luke 8:13. The world is full of temptation, and sin. Many give up when they discover how hard it is to follow the Lord. I’m writing from personal experience. A man who the Lord has extended his grace on me many times, but I never want to go back to my old life. Looking straight ahead towards Christ is the way to go for the faithful Christian soldier.
One last thing to consider when refuting eternal security are the 7 letters to the 7 churches. Jesus rebuked 5 out of the 7 churches and called them to repent and overcome from their sins. The word speaks directly to the individual who hears, repents and overcomes. The rest will not be saved but suffer the second death!
Revelation 2:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Revelation 3:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Walking away from Jesus isn’t good. See John 6:66
Romans 11:22 King James Version (KJV)
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:15 King James Version (KJV)
We are indeed in a fight; 2 Tim 4:7. But we do not battle against flesh and blood says the word. We battle against the forces of evil in the spirit realm. We fight against the evil spirits that control people to do evil deeds. Our only offensive weapon is the Word of God and not a rifle as some fallen churches put their trust in these days. See: Rev 13:9-10
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:12 King James Version (KJV)
7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
John 7:7 King James Version (KJV)
The apostle Peter got to witness the life, the death, and the resurrection of the Lord. Who better to teach the correct doctrine than him? Peter knocked it out of the park with this perfectly summarized verse; Acts 2:38. Please beware of modern day pastors who antagonize this verse. Who say, “You do not need to repent or be baptized, only believe”. The Bible says whoever denies Christ or his commands is an antichrist; 2 Pet 2:1.
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Luke 11:13 King James Version (KJV)
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 5:12-14 (KJV)
Romans 12:4-5 King James Version (KJV)
4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Hebrews 13:8 King James Version (KJV)
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
1 Corinthians 1:10-13 King James Version (KJV)
It might seem like I’m speaking out at false doctrine and phony pastors a lot but hey! That’s what a good watchman does. But from time to time, right when everything seems to make no sense because everyone is going in the opposite direction, away from the truth, I’ll hear another person of the faith step up and say the exact same things, and we are in one accord, like a Xerox copy, and I’ll say a amen! This brings great gladness and joy to my heart, that the body of Christ is still going here on earth. But for how long? Because those days are few and far in between.
Note* Paul is explaining the gospel in this passage, and the apostles part that he mentions are the 12 that Jesus picked. There are only twelve apostles. Some argue that there are more apostles because it says here he gave some to be apostles. Yes, that “some” are the 12, actually 13, if you remember Judas dropped out, and Jesus picked Paul to take his place.
The proof is found in Revelation 21:14 King James Version (KJV) 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Modern day, self-appointed, or congregation appointed apostles are not genuine apostles. They should know better than to puff themselves up and call themselves apostles.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
Ever wonder where the Klan got their hoods from? It’s not by chance as the big screen tries to portray. It’s from the Roman Catholic church, enemies of the cross of Christ. See inquisition.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven”. Matthew 7:21 KJV
Not sure if you speak spanish? But below is the hispanic version of Benny Hinn, the false miracle man. Tens of thousands of hispanics follow Cash Luna. But thankfully those who are rooted in the word have also come out to show people how Cash Luna deceives people with new age tricks.
One quick hint is that people do not fall backwards when they receive the Holy Ghost.
Colossians 2:8 can easily be preached every day, and some people would never get it. They fall away quickly from Christ. The word of God which is the bread of life is not enough for them so their eyes wander off elsewhere for inspirational words to live by. Are you familiar with Facebook? See the status bar? It says what’s on your mind? They quote worldly philosophers who aren’t Christian but of corrupt minds. They put up anything and everything but the word of God.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
Psalm 139:17 King James Version (KJV)
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Revelation 3:20 King James Version (KJV)
